The Site, the A.L.I.G.N.™ Readiness Index, the Ask A.L.I.G.N. chat, and all related content are made available for your personal and business informational use. You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or otherwise extract source code or proprietary data from the Site;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Site, including by introducing malware, attempting unauthorized access, or sending excessive automated traffic;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organization;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any output of the A.L.I.G.N.™ tools without our prior written consent.
2. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including the A.L.I.G.N.™ framework, written copy, diagrams, design system, software, and all trademarks (including “Freedom In Me” and “A.L.I.G.N.™”) — is owned by or licensed to Freedom In Me, LLC and is protected by United States and international intellectual-property laws. No license is granted by your access to the Site except the limited right to view the content for the purposes for which it is provided.
3. AI-generated content disclaimer
Reports generated by the A.L.I.G.N.™ Readiness Index and responses produced by the Ask A.L.I.G.N. chat widget are generated by Claude, a large-language model operated by Anthropic, PBC. These outputs are:
- Provided for executive reflection and informational purposes only;
- Not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, medical, fiduciary, or fitness-for-purpose advice;
- May contain factual errors, omissions, or out-of-date information.
Significant business decisions should be confirmed in conversation with a member of the Freedom In Me team or with your own qualified advisors. You assume sole responsibility for any decision made on the basis of AI-generated content.
4. No professional relationship
Use of the Site, submission of an inquiry, or generation of an A.L.I.G.N. report does not, by itself, create a consulting, advisory, fiduciary, attorney-client, or other professional relationship between you and Freedom In Me, LLC. A formal engagement begins only upon execution of a written engagement agreement signed by both parties.
5. Information you submit
When you submit information through the Site (for example through the Contact form or the Assessment), you represent that you have the right to submit that information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Submitted information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of any third-party site is governed by that site’s terms and policies.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, INCLUDING ANY A.L.I.G.N. REPORT OR CHAT OUTPUT, ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREEDOM IN ME DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THOSE ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR PERFORMANCE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FREEDOM IN ME, LLC, ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRACTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY CONTENT OR OUTPUT MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH IT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100).

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Freedom In Me, LLC with respect to your use of the Site.
